For more than 50 years the courses in Lago di Tesero have been a great place for practicing cross-country skiing
Its enviable position and its consolidated experience in the artificial snow production, also thanks to a cutting-edge system, guarantee perfect tracks. For this reason the centre is open from December to the middle of March, despite it is located only 900 m above sea level.
The stadium annually hosts the FIS Cross-Country Ski World Cup competitions - with the final stages of the famous Tour de Ski - and Nordic Combined World Cup. It was also home of the 3 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme (1991, 2003 and 2013) and will be one of the Host Sites of the MilanoCortina2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The center offers a great variety of tracks divided into numerous sectors. The routes may vary, but they are all quite demanding and very technical. The connection with the Marcialonga track guarantees the possibility of having more than 8 km of an almost flat track, both in the direction of Predazzo and in the opposite direction, towards Molina di Fiemme.
n addition, a powerful lighting system allows you to ski even at night, twice a week
The complete route develops on a 3,5 km loop, from which 3 other shorter routes are obtained:
Course "Lago" 3,5 km | Difficulty: high - Difference in height 140 m
Course "Paracara" 2,5 km east | Difficulty: medium - Difference in height 100 m
Course "Chiesetta" 2,5 km west | Difficulty: medium - Difference in height 100 m
Course "Campo Scuola" 1 km | Difficulty: easy - Difference in height 0 m
The Sports Center Lago di Tesero also offers an openair ice skating rink, equipment rental, changing rooms with showers and toilets, ski-waxing rooms, a nice restaurant and a wide free parking area.
The Cross Country Centre Passo di Lavazè has always been a point of reference for nordic ski enthusiasts
Located at Passo Lavazé, on a plateau between Trentino and South Tyrol, with its over 80 Km of trails, perfectly prepared by a professional technical staff, and the numerous itineraries, the centre is able to satisfy skilled skiers and beginners alike.
The enchanting sight from the pass, the natural environment surrounding the tracks and the sun shining on most of the ski circuit, are the main features of the place, ideal destination for all enthusiasts of this sport.
The connection with Oclini, located at a slightly higher altitude, has furtherly increased the number of possible itineraries, and also allowed tha practice of skiing until Spring.
A few typical mountain malgas are dotted along the most popular routes and are ready to welcome you with their traditional dishes. From the coming season it will also be possible to reach some of them on foot or snowshoes, along a few paths expressly designed for enchanting walks.
On these trails takes place the Lavazeloppet, a traditional international cross-country ski race with classic technique, which anticipates the Marcialonga, “the queen of cross-country ski marathons” of just a few days.
ATTENTION, some trails are closed due to works in the forest.
